Hey….I read the book on line maybe 4 or 5 years ago….(and large chunks of it again last year)…..some parts of Matilda MacElroy’s account seemed very feasible….whether she is the main author, or not (and Lawrence Spencer is, as he says, only the editor), (and whether fiction or not!), many descriptions within it (both the interactions with EBE and the Military attitude and reactions) suggest someone with some ‘inside’ knowledge…and a nurse….why not! I haven’t seen any audio versions…(so maybe the odd para might be worth an RS sometime…..mm….where to start!)….Came across this one…..(but I’ve only listened to about five minutes of Lawrence Spencer talking about it)
